Capabilities

Everything notifications can do.

Six settings for keeping the right people informed the moment feedback arrives — no polling, no dashboards to check.

Instant Feedback Alerts

Receive an email notification the moment a respondent submits a survey. No lag, no batch — your team knows about new feedback as soon as it arrives.

Configurable Recipients

Add multiple notification recipients — send bug reports to your support inbox, NPS alerts to your product lead, and general feedback to your marketing team.

Custom From Name

Set the sender name that appears in the notification email. Brand alerts as coming from your product name or team so they stand out in a busy inbox.

Custom From Email

Override the default WordPress sender address so notification emails come from a recognisable address like feedback@yourdomain.com rather than a generic noreply.

Weekly Digest

Opt for a weekly summary email instead of per-response alerts. A single digest covering all responses from the past seven days keeps inboxes clean for high-volume surveys.

Setup Wizard Integration

Email notification settings are configured as part of the guided setup wizard when you first install AllFeedback. You’ll be set up and receiving alerts before your first response arrives.

Why it matters

Feedback that reaches the right person.

0s

Lag on alerts

Notifications are sent immediately when a response is submitted. Critical feedback — like a bug report or a detractor NPS — reaches your team the moment it happens.

1

Weekly digest per site

One consolidated email covers all surveys for the week. Perfect for managers who want a regular pulse without an inbox full of individual alerts.

100%

On-site, no third party

Notifications are sent via WordPress’s own mail system. No Mailchimp, no SendGrid account required — though you can integrate an SMTP plugin if you prefer.

Use Cases

Who uses Notifications — and how.

Three real scenarios where instant or digest notifications turn passive data into team action.

Team alert on new bug report

Route bug report survey submissions directly to your engineering team’s inbox. The instant notification means critical issues get picked up the moment they’re submitted.

Weekly NPS digest to product lead

Configure a weekly digest for your NPS survey so your product lead gets a single Monday summary covering all loyalty scores from the previous week — no dashboard login needed.

Separate addresses per site

Running AllFeedback across a multisite network? Set different notification recipients and sender addresses on each site so alerts always go to the team responsible for that property.

FAQs

Common questions.

Are Email Notifications included in the free plugin?
Yes. All notification settings — instant alerts, custom recipients, custom sender, and weekly digest — are included in the free version of AllFeedback with no upgrade required.
Can I send notifications to multiple recipients?
Yes. You can add multiple email addresses as notification recipients. Each address will receive the alert or digest independently so there’s no shared inbox required.
Does it need an external email service like Mailchimp?
No. Notifications are sent via WordPress’s built-in mail system (wp_mail). You can optionally install an SMTP plugin for improved deliverability, but no external service is required.
Can I change notification settings after the wizard?
Yes. All notification settings are editable from the AllFeedback settings page in your WordPress admin at any time. You don’t need to re-run the setup wizard to change recipients or frequency.
Can I disable notifications for specific surveys?
Notification settings are configured globally in AllFeedback v1.0. Per-survey notification controls are on the product roadmap for a future release.
